No fewer than four people have died while 159 are missing following a collapse of a 12-storey building in Miami, the United States of America, official reports say. The tragic incident happened on Thursday around 1:30 am American time as the 40-year-old Champlain Towers South condominium collapsed in the small, beachside town of Surfside, about 6 miles north of Miami Beach. The mayor of Miami-Dade, Daniella Levine Cava announced that the emergency agencies "still have hope" of finding survivors. Rescue teams deployed to the scene are working tirelessly and have reported hearing people banging beneath the debris.   The Lagos judicial panel has awarded the sum of N10 million to the family of late Kolade Johnson. Johnson was shot during a raid by police officers at Onipetesi area in Lagos, while watching an English premiership match between Tottenham and Manchester United on March 31, 2019. The incident sparked outrage social media, after which the police authorities identified Ogunyemi Olalekan, a police inspector, and Godwin Orji, a sergeant, as the officers involved in the shooting. Following an orderly trial, Olalekan was dismissed from the force after he was found guilty, while Orji was acquitted. Doris Okuwobi, chairman of the Lagos panel, announced the compensation at the sitting on Friday. The award sum was received by the mother of the deceased. Thirteen petitioners — including Johnson’s family — were compensated with a total of N83 million at the sitting on Friday.

 A housemaid has been arrested by the Zimbabwean police after she allegedly had carnal knowledge of her boss’ underage son. The victim, a 10-year-old boy revealed that the lady identified as Anele Mathe had sexually assaulted him behind his mum’s back. The incident happened in Bulawayo, where Anele was hired to look after the boy when his mother goes to work, unfortunately she took advantage of her boss’ constant busy schedule to get intimate with him. The lady from Bradfield, according to court records, broke into her boss son’s room one night, switched off the light in the room where the minor was sleeping, and ordered him to strip. She reportedly stripped down to her nightgown before entering the bed and coerced the child to have an affair with her without any defense. Mathe was advised not to interfere with any State witnesses or testimony as part of her bail conditions.
